The new issue of Aquaculture North America features a news item based on Dr. Ian Bricknell’s presentation on the Sea Lice Online Conference in September.

Sea lice present a significant threat to host fish welfare, says Dr. Bricknell, as there continue to be new emerging parasites which call for industry awareness and for continued research efforts.

The Sea Lice International 13th Conference in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, in May 2022 includes themes, such as Fish welfare, Genetics and genome, Medical treatments, Modelling and epidemiology, Non-medical treatments and Sea lice biology.

The conference is open for registration, and of abstract submissions.

Dr. Bricknell is member of the international Sea Lice Conference Scientific and Organizing Committee.
